Malaria is a serious disease that in its worst form and if left untreated is often fatal. It's hard to imagine, but the World Health Organization reports that a staggering 3,000 African children die from malaria every single day. This is a travesty that many of us around the world cannot even begin to comprehend. Malaria is highly preventable through education, early drug treatment, and mosquito nets, which can be purchased for only $10 each. Every child in Uganda should have a net under which to safely sleep, peacefully!
